Dr. Adel’s commitment to medical education is evident through his roles as a designated Institutional Officer (DIO) of Residency programs affiliated with the Arab Board and Dubai Health Authority at Prime Healthcare Group. He also serves as the Program Director of internship training programs, playing a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. As a certified instructor for the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS), Dr. Adel imparts his knowledge through courses on Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS).

Holding a Ph.D. in Critical Care Medicine from Cairo University, he has earned acclaim as a distinguished authority in his field. This robust educational foundation has not only fueled his success in clinical practice but has also paved the way for significant contributions to medical research. Actively engaging in numerous international projects and publishing extensively, Dr. Adel has emerged as a sought-after reviewer for prestigious medical journals. Dr. Adel’s illustrious academic career began with his graduation from the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in 1999. His postgraduate journey included house officer training at Cairo University Hospitals, setting the stage for significant accomplishments. In July 2011, he achieved a Ph.D. in Critical Care Medicine, focusing on gastric mucosal changes in critically-ill septic patients and plasma DNA concentration as an early predictor factor for their clinical outcome. Additionally, in November 2005, he earned a Master’s degree in Critical Care Medicine, with a thesis on the efficacy of recombinant human erythropoietin in critically ill anemic septic patients.

Dr. Adel’s contributions to medical research have not gone unnoticed, receiving accolades such as commendations from the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and the International Pan Arab Critical Care Medicine Society Congress. His dedication to comprehensive training extends to his role as a faculty member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, the Egyptian Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine.

In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Adel served as the Chair of the COViD-19 Task force at Prime Healthcare Group. Leading the committee and team members, he worked tirelessly to provide the highest level of care for severe and critical cases, showcasing not only his medical expertise but also his leadership during challenging times.
