In partnership with Wildlife ACT, guests have the unique opportunity to join the team of environmentalists as an ecotourist on North Island which allows you to accompany scientists and Seychelles volunteers while focusing on endangered species monitoring, marine conservation, and ecosystem restoration. No more than four participants join a dedicated conservation and research team on a private island and get involved in all the activities of the Environmental Department and conservation volunteers – from field work to data entry.

Divers Baros Maldives has officially been certified as the first resort EcoDive Centre in the Maldives by the International Reef Check, an Baros Maldives internationally recognized marine data collection program that works together with communities, governments,
and businesses. Reef Check scientifically monitors, restores, and maintains the health of coral reefs around the world.
The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa, Bali
The Seminyak Beach Resort assists local projects and one such is its contribution to ROle Foundation’s Soap Recycling Program. Every year in Bali, 75 tons of soap is thrown away by hotels and villas. The soap may have only been used once or twice (or sometimes not at all) by guests. Every month ROle collects it and then it is delivered to the Foundation’s small-scale soap reprocessing center at the ROle Foundation campus in Nusa Dua, where it is broken down, sanitized, and reprocessed to create new soap. The aim is to recycle 19,500 bars of used hospitality
soap annually. The soap is then supplied to poor communities and orphanages in need of hygiene products.
