Mr Taher Shams, Managing Director of Zulekha Hospital said: “This campaign sends a powerful message regarding the importance of blood donation. Such a simple, quick procedure can save so many lives. Our aim is to hold this campaign every year in order to spread awareness and encourage people to donate when they can.”

Sharing his experience, Safety Officer Geevas Moncy said, “I get a good feeling when I donate blood, it makes me feel proud and I donate every year to be able to save at least one life”
