ubai Health Authority receives delegation from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 5, 2017: His Excellency Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) recently received a high-level delegation from the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the DHA headquarters.

The delegation was headed by His Excellency Martin Van Rijn, Minister of Health, Welfare and Sports in the Kingdom of Netherlands and attended by senior officials including His Excellency Frank Mollen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the UAE and HE Hans Sandee, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dubai.

The two sides discussed ways to explore and enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of healthcare and to focus on building and strengthening their cooperation in the field of medicine including geriatric care.

HE Al Qatami provided an overview of the Dubai Healthcare system and mentioned that Dubai c has 31 private and public hospitals, over 33,000 healthcare physicians and more than 2600 health facilities and that health is a sector that is been witnessing tremendous growth over the years.

HE Al Qatami, said: “We are pleased to explore this cooperation particularly in the field of geriatric care and public health. Such collaborations present an opportunity to exchange information and ideas and work together achieve positive outcomes in the health sector.”
