AE parents can now shop for exclusively eco-friendly, organic, sustainable and locally-produced baby products under one roof – as homegrown brand Eggs & Soldiers opens its first standalone store at Times Square Centre.
Launched by lifelong Dubai resident, businesswoman and supermum to four children under five, Sofi Chabowski, the Eggs & Soldiers store acts as a response to customer demand and the huge success of both its online shopping platform and former pop-up concept shop, which was located at Dubai Garden Centre.
“Our customers love to see, touch and learn about our products, which is why an Eggs & Soldiers store has been something I’ve wanted to bring to Dubai for some time,” says founder Sofi. “In my experience, modern day parents largely want to use the most ethical and chemical-free items, on and for their children, but not everyone has the time to research and shop around for those things. That’s where Eggs & Soldiers steps in!”
“Our ethos is simply to offer ‘A More Natural Way’. Organic is trendy, but often equates to a sub-standard product, higher price tags and little more than clever marketing. Eggs & Soldiers is committed to offering only the most ecoaware, yet highest quality baby products around. And, every single item you will find for sale in our store or on our site has been tested by myself and my four (very different!) children.”

Alongside its international brand partners, Eggs & Soldiers also proudly supports fellow UAE-born businesses by stocking locally-produced products, such as Baby-Lu teething necklaces and Love By Jo nursing covers.
Sofi is perhaps known best for her passion for cloth diapering. Cloth diapers were the basis of Eggs & Soldiers, and something she has been pioneering in the region since becoming a mother, and launching her business in 2014.
With latest research predicting disposable diapers take somewhere between 200 and 500 years to break down in landfill, and no legal requirement for diaper brands to reveal the chemical components contained in their products, Sofi has become an ambassador for cloth diapering in the UAE due to her regular workshops on the subject.
Eggs & Soldiers will expand its portfolio of workshops and events in its new Times Square Centre store, aiming to educate parents on the safest choices for both their children and the environment. Full details will be announced.
“Education is really at the core of everything we do,” says Sofi. “We aim to educate people so they can make informed decisions. I wants Eggs & Soldiers’ parents to fully understand the choices available to them, and be given real life advice, rather than a sales pitch. That’s really not our way at all.”
