Dubai, United Arab Emirates; October 25, 2016: Celebrated award-winning chef Tom Aikens is scheduled to open Tom’s Kitchen Deli, his first international deli in November 2016 at Riverland in Dubai Parks and Resorts. Whilst staying true to Tom’s Kitchen’s existing core values, Tom’s Kitchen Deli will be taking classic fast food to the next level, offering express food and drink options in a fun and lively environment, perfect for families visiting the Middle East’s largest integrated theme park.
The daily changing menu will offer a range of family friendly, indulgent and healthy items, including a selection of wraps, paninis and sandwiches filled with freshly prepared fillings; the Cod Dog with cod fish fingers in a brioche roll; Savoury Tacos with sour cream, chilli relish, cheese sauce and jalapenos; Doughnuts filled with peanut butter and jelly or salted caramel; and Sweet Crepes served with various ice creams and toppings.
As the youngest British chef to be awarded two Michelin stars Tom Aikens is renowned for his dedication to serving the highest quality, ethically sourced ingredients and has established a portfolio of celebrated Tom’s Kitchen restaurants and delis across London. The new Dubai deli will feature a unique concept complementing the Riverland theme at Dubai Parks & Resorts. Thoughtfully designed by Forward Associates in collaboration with Wildfire London, Tom’s Kitchen Deli reflects the lighter side of dining. Its inspired interiors transformed the deli to a new life while staying true to the core values of Tom’s Kitchen. The colourful statement ceiling, witty illustrations on the wall with bold graphics, dynamic signage, and stylish furniture will engage guests as they walk into the establishment.
Across London, Tom’s Kitchen currently have four restaurants and delis as well as a bar, in addition to one international flagship in Istanbul. The deli is Tom Aiken’s second venture in the Middle East, following his successful restaurant, Pots, Pans & Boards located at The Beach on JBR.
