The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Ambassador of Chile to UAE discuss cooperation in health sector

Dr. Mohammad Salim AlOlama, the Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, received the Ambassador of Chile to the UAE, H.E. Mr John Paul Tarod Coburn, at the Ministry Headquarter in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Dr. Essa Ahmed Al Mansoori, Director of the Undersecretary Office and International Relations Office.

H.E. Dr. AlOlama discussed with the Ambassador the Ministry’s achievements and ongoing efforts to improve the therapeutic and preventive services, deployment of latest technology to achieve health security and the keenness to share its experiences with the world. He welcomed the prospect of receiving visiting medical delegations from Chile, while discussing the UAE’s interest in possible investments in Chile’s health sector.

The Ambassador in turn praised UAE’s achievements in the health sector citing its robust health legislation, infrastructure, and highly qualified medical staff.  He expressed his country’s desire to develop dynamic relations with the UAE and continuously exchange knowledge and expertise with the health sector of the Emirates and to involve in scientific research programs.
