ABU DHABI, November 08, 2015: Aster DM Healthcare sets another benchmark as it launches Aster Grace Nursing and Physiotherapy, LLC – a home healthcare agency providing professional home care for patients and the elderly in the UAE capital.

Based in Abu Dhabi, the initial service covers the Emirate providing care from skilled nurses, physical therapists and doctors in the convenience of the patients’ homes. Soon, dietitians and respiratory therapists will also be available. All healthcare practitioners are under license from the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD).

According to reports, the Ministry of Health in the UAE said that life expectancy has increased from 52.2 years in 1960 to 76.8 years in 2011 due to improved health care infrastructure and rising income. Latest data from the ministry also showed 5.2 per cent of the Emirati population is above the age of 60 years. As such, reports said that the ministry expects the population being over 60 to increase by 11 per cent in 2032 and 19 per cent in the year 2050. With the expected growth in senior members of society, Aster Grace Nursing is in a position to help families address eldercare.
