Surf for all Dubai is a free – community based – posi6ve vibes only – club offering an opportunity to learn how to surf to teenagers with Down Syndrome. It’s definitely about the surfing, but also about having fun in the water, being outdoors, challenging yourself outside your comfort zone and making new friends with mo6vated volunteers.
Surf for all was created by Antoine de Mascarel, a French student from Jumeirah College, wan6ng to share his passion for surfing. In 2014, he contacted Surf House Dubai to ask for their support who generously agreed to lend boards and their head coach Sjack. He then contacted « All 4 Down Syndrome Dubai » who passed the word and got teenagers willing to give it a shot. This year is the third year the club is running, with 8 to 9 teens with Down Syndrome and the same amount of young volunteers, all eager to meet up and have a great 6me surfing in the water.
Come and visit us on the beach one day and enjoy the posi6ve vibes J We’d love to share our story with the Dubai community at large!
