Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 5 March 2018 In celebration of Mother’s Day, Soul Wellness & Spa at Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai will hold a free Mandala workshop on Wednesday 21st of March from 7.30 to 8.30pm.
The event will be led by Abigail de Jong, a visual artist who utilizes art as a healing practice by incorporating music, movement, guided meditation, visual art, therapeutic writing and sharing. She teaches this regularly as part of the Intuitive Painting and the Touch Drawing process.
A mandala is a symbolic object from the Sanskrit language meaning circle. While it can have many meanings, the mandala is thought to stand for wholeness. Research has shown that coloring or creating mandalas can be meditative and reduce stress.
Guests are advised to book ahead of time as the space is limited. To make a reservation, ring Soul Wellness & Spa on (+971) 4 503 4100 or email 03731.spa@sheraton.com
