Sharjah Women Sports Foundation has signed a memorandum of understanding with Medcare hospitals and clinics to provide wide discounts and medical seminars for the members of the foundation. The MoU will activate programs of social partnership and cooperation between the two parties to increase social solidarity and build a lasting partnership that benefits everyone.
The agreement was signed on May 31 by Ms Maryam Al Hosany, Deputy Director General of Sharjah Women Sports Foundation and Dr. Shamsa Bin Hammad, Chief Operating Officer of Medcare Women & Children Hospital.
Under the MoU, Medcare will be considered the main medical provider for all the activities of the foundation, including providing the medical team with medical equipment to ensure the safety of the players during their matches. Discounts of up to 25% on all medical services for members and families of Sharjah Women Sports Foundation will also be provided. In addition to lectures and training sessions to increase health awareness, this agreement applies to the Medcare hospitals and clinics in Sharjah and Dubai.
Ms Maryam relayed her enthusiasm for the agreement, which meets the objectives of the foundation by holding strategic partnerships that positively affect all parties and raise the level of medical services provided to the members of the foundation. Speaking on the topic, Ms. Maryam said she was“looking forward to more cooperation and coordination between the Sharjah Women Sports Foundation and Medcare.”
Dr. Shamsa Bin Hammad expressed her pleasure in collaborating with Sharjah Women Sports Foundation to provide distinguished medical services to the administrative and sports staff. She confirmed that Medcare will harness all its capabilities to serve the community and carry out its social responsibilities in an effort to fulfill the Medcare promise, “We’ll treat you well.”
