Prime Healthcare Group demonstrates its support for Breast Cancer by providing complimentary screening

pink ribbonDubai – October 18, 2015: Prime Healthcare, The leading healthcare provider in the UAE, has launched an awareness campaign called, “WE ARE ADDING COLOUR TO OUR CAUSE”, to educate men and women about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

Throughout the month of October, Prime Healthcare will demonstrate its support for breast cancer by providing complimentary screening in order to take preventive measures and spread awareness among the community. The screening will include consultation, ultrasound and mammogram across all Prime Medical Centers and Prime Hospital.

Getting a mammogram can help reduce the number of deaths caused by breast cancer by 40% among men and women between ages 40 to 70. Deaths related to breast cancer have also been declining since 1990 due to early detection, better screening, increased awareness, and new treatment options. The survival rate of breast cancer is much higher when caught at an early stage*.
