Concept of ‘Exercise Mixology’ proves popular with Dubai residents looking to shake up their training regime
Dubai, UAE December 2017: Building on the tremendous response received during the Dubai Fitness Challenge, The Platform has rolled out new mix-and-match fitness classes to offer more flexibility and choice to individuals looking to shape up their training routines.
Answering the Dubai community’s need for a more flexible workout experience, The Platform is the first studio in the emirate to develop the concept of ‘exercise mixology’, a revolutionary power-blend of fitness ingredients that creates ideal workout combinations, with classes that are designed as adaptive blocks to be experienced back-to-back.
The Platform’s new mix-and-match classes will provide participants with more choice and flexibility, combining cardio and functional training techniques with stretching and toning add-ons to deliver the ultimate full-body workout. Class combinations available to book now are:
- Example A – Cycle 30-45 minutes then move to the HIIT studio for a 30-45 minutes workout
- Example B – Cycle 30 minutes then move to Yoga studio for a 30-45 minutes relaxation class
- Example C – HIIT 30-45 minutes then move to Yoga 30-45 minutes relaxation class
“The success of the Dubai Fitness Challenge in pushing the Dubai community to integrate fitness into their lifestyle has been phenomenal. By encouraging individuals to commit 30 minutes to exercise each day, the city-wide initiative by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council for Dubai Government, has created a wave of fitness consciousness with more and more people getting serious about becoming active and getting fitter,” said Stewart Miller, Founder of The Platform.
“The Platform has also felt the impact of the initiative, with our exercise mixology approach to fitness, in particular, proving popular with a wide spectrum of the Dubai community, from fitness addicts to workout newbies. We understand the reasons behind its growing popularity as individuals are now increasingly seeking workout rituals that allow them ample flexibility and convenience in line with their busy schedules. Exercise mixology is well suited to those new to exercise, providing an exciting combination of different styles that never gets boring, as well as to experienced fitness lovers looking to enhance their performance through blended training techniques that challenge muscle groups in new and dynamic ways,” he added.
The Platform’s Mix and Match classes are available every day between 6:30 am till 9pm. For full details and to book a class, please visit: http://theplatformstudios.com/
