NMC ProVita Launches First Internationally Accredited Long-term Care and Rehabilitative Services Program to the Northern Emirates

NMC ProVita International Medical Center, a subsidiary of the UAE’s largest private sector healthcare provider NMC Healthcare and the market pioneer in post-acute medical and rehabilitative care in the UAE, expands its footprint throughout UAE and becomes the first to offer its gamut of services to the Northern Emirates at Al Zahra Hospital – Sharjah.

The move follows the company’s legacy as a first mover in the long-term care sector, expanding its accredited patient-centric protocols to serve the communities of Sharjah and the Northern Emirates while ensuring that patients are able to remain closer to their loved ones during their recovery journey.

The opening ceremony of the new unit took place on Sunday, April 22 in attendance of Clancey Po, Director- Corporate Operations Strategy, NMC Healthcare; Stanley Rodrigues, General Manager NMC ProVita and Santhosh Skaria, CEO of AZHS.

Through its team of experienced and specialized healthcare professionals and the latest medical technologies, NMC’s ProVita looks forward to deploying the highly advanced new unit, comprising 14 beds and a dedicated rehabilitation gym, to make holistic, competent and compassionate care accessible to larger populations throughout the country.

Prasanth Manghat, CEO and Executive Director, NMC Healthcare said, “Provita introduced the concept of long-term care of a patient requiring multi-level life-support functions in the UAE and has been working closely with the families of such patients who have neuro cognitive disabilities. Now having expanded to Sharjah, we are much closer to our goal of offering the services across the Emirates of the UAE.”
