Mediclinic Middle East Announces Free Health Checks to mark World Heart Day

Mediclinic City Hospital, Mediclinic Welcare Hospital, Mediclinic Dubai Mall and all other Mediclinic Middle East facilities will provide complimentary blood cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure and BMI checks on 29September at 12 different locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain

Dubai, UAE, 27 September 2015:Mediclinic Middle East is once again offering free heart health checks to mark World Heart Day.

On 29 September, complimentary assessments which include random blood cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar and Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements will be available to all residents, as follows (no appointment necessary):

– The Dubai Mall (near the Food Court), from 10am – 11pm

– Ibn Battuta Mall (near Geant), from 2pm – 8pm

– World Trade Center Mall, Abu Dhabi, from 12pm – 6pm

– Hili Mall, Al Ain, from 1pm – 6pm

– Spinneys Uptown Mirdif, from 1pm – 7pm

– Spinneys Trade Center Road, from 3pm – 9pm

– Spinneys Motorcity, from 9am – 3pm

– Spinneys Umm Suqeim, From 9am – 3pm

– Fitness First Meadows, from 8am – 2pm

– Lulu Hypermarket, Al Qusais, from 12pm – 6pm

– Mediclinic Welcare Hospital, from 8am – 2pm

– Mediclinic City Hospital, from 8am – 2pm

 

The focus of this year’s World Heart Day is creating heart-healthy environments and ensuring that people are able to make heart-healthy choices wherever they live and work.  “Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in the UAE,” says Dr. Pietie Loubser, Chief Clinical Officer, Mediclinic Middle East.  “Our programme of free health checks aims to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease and give individuals the knowledge they need to reduce their cardiovascular risk.”
