October 2016 is set to mark the second year that BurJuman is running the Safe & Sound app. Successfully launched last year, the app has harnessed the latest mobile technology to bring the Safe & Sound message into the 21st century, reaching even more people and enabling users to donate directly. Available for free download both in and outside of the UAE, users are encouraged to track and log their walks and runs during October and throughout the rest of the year. Through the user-friendly interface, subscribers can challenge their friends and colleagues to join the campaign, and share their progress via social media to further spread the word.
To make donating even easier, the BurJuman Safe & Sound app features a convenient payment gateway which allows users to send money directly to Al Jalila Foundation and Brest Friends, the official charity partners of the Safe & Sound campaign. Not just for individual subscribers, the app also enables organisations such as companies and schools to support the Safe & Sound campaign as part of their ongoing CSR activities.

The BurJuman Safe & Sound App is available for free download via the App Store, and will remain available for download throughout the year.
