On February 8, at the Hangar Bicocca in Milan, the first Summit of Italy’s Number Ones saw the participation of 100 entrepreneurs that promote the “Made in Italy” concept and keep the flag of the Italian business community flying high across the world. The event was hosted by Class Editori and featured the heads of large as well as small- and medium-sized businesses that are the number one in their respective industries.
Among the high-profile attendees was Luca Patanè, Chairman of the Uvet Group, who was acknowledged as a number one entrepreneur heading a group that is the leader in its industry. The Uvet Group was the only representative of the tourism industry invited to the Summit.
The event, which was at its first edition, was born to promote the exchange of ideas, expertise and projects between Italian business leaders to address the most pressing issues of our time. They discussed the future of Italy’s economy as well as innovation, big data, and artificial intelligence.
“I am extremely proud to rank among Italy’s top 100 entrepreneurs – said Luca Patanè, Chairman of the Uvet Group – and I would like to thank the Class Editori group for recognising the importance our company has always held within the tourism industry, which is key for Italy’s economy. Attending such a high-profile Summit pushes me to do even better. We need to protect and constantly promote the world-class quality of Italian companies and products”.
