7th January 2018, Abu Dhabi, UAE – The first free Yas Family Fitness Festival will take place from 26-27th January at Yas Island, Gateway Park South. With a full schedule of complimentary health, nutrition and physical activities on offer from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every day there will be something for every member of the family to kick start your family fitness goals in 2018.
Grab your water bottles and put on your gym gear and join our official Fitness Ambassadors World Record holder Eva Clarke, World Cup footballer and Head Coach at the UAE FA Omar Al-Duri, and Fitness mum and creator of JumpFitDubai Jennifer Chalouhi for this free family event.
You can try out new activities including yoga, Zumba, HIIT, Body Attack, and Body Pump with non-stop Les Mills fitness classes, or get active with the kids at the My GYM UAE Kids Zone with a fully-fledged kids’ gym, kids’ Zumba or gymnastics. The 800 Sport Outdoor gym will be open throughout the day, their will expert nutritionists providing healthy living advice and many other kids activities such as arts and crafts, face painting to keep the whole family entertained.
For those looking for an even greater challenge, test your strength at Primal Gym’s truck-pulling strong man challenge, or take on Primal Gym’s finest fighters at the Boxing Ring and MMA ring sessions throughout the day. Alternatively, test your balance and nerve at the 45m x 20m obstacle course, or hit new heights on the 7.5-metre climbing wall.
To take a break, head to the Slim & Lite and Souq Planet Healthy Cooking School and participate in fun cooking challenges; with quick, healthy, nutritious meal lessons on offer, shop for the latest sports apparel or simply soak up the atmosphere in the sun.
