DUBAI, MAY 7, 2017: To celebrate the Holy month of Ramadan, wellness destination Talise Spa, Madinat Jumeirah is inviting the community to reflect and revive the senses by offering complimentary meditation classes, every weekday from 5-5.30pm.
Regular meditation offers numerous health benefits, especially during fasting, including lowering blood pressure, strengthening the immune system and releasing stress and fatigue. The complimentary meditation, which will be held in the tranquil surroundings of Talise Spa at Madinat Jumeirah is part of the Talise Groups on-going commitment to spread the health and wellness message to the wider community. Meditating for just half an hour on a regular basis provides more psychological rest than a full night’s sleep. As you meditate more regularly, you will notice an increased sense of well-being as well as greater energy and creativity.
Two types of meditation will be on offer at Talise Spa – Guided and Sound. Guided meditation is for those who find it hard to meditate alone, and will walk you through the meditation to calm the mind and move you to a deeper state of awareness, one step at a time. Sounded meditation is a healing practice that allows us to experience inner calm and deep relaxation – sound mediation isn’t about forcing your mind to be quiet, it’s about experiencing the silence that’s already there.
This programme is complimentary and open to both those who are new to meditation and long-term practitioners – everybody can take part and experience the benefits of practice for their daily lives.
