Saudi Arabia’s first International Sport and Fitness exhibition, ISF Saudi, is to be inaugurated today at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events. Under the patronage of H.R.H Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, General Presidency for Youth & Welfare and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, the exhibition takes place from 24th – 27th November between 4:00 and 11:00pm, and aims to help raise the national health consciousness in Saudi Arabia.
Providing a broad spectrum of sports, health and fitness activities, ISF Saudi delivers a 4-day program for all sports enthusiasts. With 5,000 m2 of indoor exhibition space, visitors will be able to engage with their favourite sports and fitness clubs, brands and personalities, and enjoy demonstrations offered by leading international companies. Featuring an outdoor multifunctional mini-stadium, scheduled events include a university football tournament, a street basketball tournament, and a disabled basketball competition.
Organised by Reed Sunaidi Exhibitions and powered by FIBO, the world’s leading trade fair for fitness and health, the exhibition, as well as promoting public health for the Saudi population, provides a platform for sport industry stakeholders to connect and engage in meaningful dialogue.
A high level conference accompanies the event, featuring speakers from the Real Madrid Foundation, Saudi Olympic Committee, the Saudi Football Federation, the Saudi Sports Investment Committee, Green Vision, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, Fitness Time, World Gym, Life Fitness, Delta Marketing, Technogym and many more.
With representation from 15 countries—Germany, Italy, Spain, USA, Sweden, Turkey, China and France to name a few—famous brands include Life Fitness, Technogym, Pavigym, Gym80, Airex, FreeMotion, Stex and CrossFox Fitness.
“We would like to thank H.R.H Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his patronage and support of ISF Saudi. This is much more than an exhibition—it is a socioeconomic platform that allows the sport, fitness and wellness industry to have a collective voice, to take action and ownership, and to promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle to the population of Saudi Arabia,” said Simon Blazeby, Head of Exhibitions at Reed Sunaidi.
Commenting on their decision to participate in ISF Saudi, Fahad Al Hagbani, COO of Fitness Time, said: “This is the first time that a show of this magnitude has been organised in Saudi Arabia and being one of the leading brands in the Kingdom, we believe that it is our responsibility to actively participate and steer society towards an active lifestyle.”
ISF Saudi is open to the public and business and trade visitors. For more information, please visit www.isfsaudi.com or the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events this Monday to Thursday.
