Hellofood officially launches its online ordering platform in Lebanon

19 November 2014, Beirut – Lebanon: Hellofood, the fastest growing online food ordering platform in the world, has officially launched its application in Lebanon with a ceremony at the Golden Tulip hotel in Hamra. The launch event was intended to officially announce the emergence of hellofood from the soft launch phase after very strong and encouraging results in the Lebanese market within the past 6 months.

“Since May 2014, hellofood has been showing very promising order results, being able to partner up with more than 120 partner restaurants” says Alex Roth, country manager for hellofood Lebanon, “this is a very encouraging sign that the Lebanese market is ripe for innovation and the customer value that hellofood provides”. With a smartphone penetration of almost 70% in Lebanon, more than half of hellofood orders are generated through the phone application. The hellofood app is available for Android, iOS, Blackberry, and Windows Phone devices.

The launch event was attended from hellofood’s headquarters in Germany by Agron Rexhepi, global head of sales for hellofood and Hardy Guenther, global head of business development. The event also included representatives from Pizza Hut, Americana, McDonalds, Subway, Dunkin Donuts among many more restaurant owners and managers.
