Global Wellness Day to be celebrated for the first time in the UAE as wellness tourism increases in the Middle East

Global Wellness DayDubai, 27 May 2015: Earlier this month, the Global Wellness Institute predicted that wellness tourism will grow by more than 9 per cent per year to 2017, nearly 50 per cent faster than overall global tourism and the Middle East is set to lead this growth over the next two years. To mark the growth in this industry, the award-winning Talise Spa at Madinat Jumeirah has teamed up with the DNA Center for Integrative Medicine & Wellness and Aesthetica Clinic to mark Global Wellness Day in the UAE on Saturday 13 June 2015. The UAE joins 50 countries across the world for this one day celebration focusing on the importance of living well.

The complimentary events and activities at Talise Spa, Madinat Jumeirah will take place between 8.30am and 1.30pm where attendees can find out how to live healthier, look better and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.
