Abu Dhabi, July 23, 2016: Hussain Rammal, Head Chef at Jannah Burj Al Sarab is changing the face of the culinary experience at Jannah Hotels and Resorts. Unlike many others, Chef Rammal knows how to put a twist to traditional Arabic and Mediterranean cuisines. He has always been part of the hotelier sector and prior to moving to Jannah Hotels and Resorts, he graced the kitchen operations of luxury hospitality brands including Rotana, Intercontinental and Crowne Plaza as the Executive Arabic Chef.
Chef Rammal is known for working under constant pressure and taking it to his own advantage without compromising the impeccable quality Jannah Burj Al Sarab aims to offer. As a head chef, he might not have a specific assigned task but the responsibilities increase significantly. Constantly trying to outdo himself, he tries to put forth the best meal prepared possible for each and every diner present within the restaurant at Jannah Burj Al Sarab.
His love for Middle Eastern food can be seen at the buffet spread at The Dining Room. Kibbeh Nayye is his signature dish and is loved by all those who have experienced the burst of flavors in it.
With a Master’s Diploma of Chef de Cuisine from Lebanon, Chef Rammal demonstrates leadership akin to a father while coordinating the work of the kitchen staff, controlling food cost, determining the serving sizes, planning, preparing and ensuring proper presentation. His daughters seem keen to follow his footsteps as they share his passion for cooking. They love preparing sweet delights to share with the family on regular dinners and family gatherings.
“I love cooking because it allows you to express endless thoughts and feelings by creating a dish which everyone enjoys. It is important to teach your kids how to cook. Travelling exposed my children to diverse cultures and cuisines. I raised them to be intuitive cooks; so they now go beyond following recipes,” said Chef Rammal.
