Dubai, UAE, 12 October 2015: The largest assortment of unique fitness features has been devised to get UAE residents active, competitive and just a little bit sweaty at a brand new weekend family event at the Etisalat Fitness Expo.
The first Etisalat Fitness Fest will see a huge range of activities in one place which are open to people of all ages and health abilities, from children to adults as well as couch potatoes.
The fun-filled family extravaganza will take place from 5-7 November at the Dubai Autodrome and will entertain and educate thousands of visitors. The inaugural event has been designed to involve the whole family in a diverse environment.
Top family activities and features for the parents and the younger ones include Slot Fire Racing, a pedal power driven car racetrack; Bubble football and Snook-Ball, inflatable fitness fun; Rock Republic Climbing Wall for kids with high ambitions; and much more.
Youngsters can also enjoy the Cycle Tots and Ultimate Fitt Youth Games, organised by Be Sport and Fitt HPC respectively, and many of the fitness challenges offer fantastic rewards for winners, including cash prizes and exclusive sports gear.
“Getting children involved in fit and healthy activities is a central theme of the Etisalat Fitness Fest,” said Chris Fountain, Managing Director of Turret Media, the organisers of the event. “With the numerous activities that are taking place over the course of the weekend there truly is something for everyone to participate in regardless of age.”
Running alongside the Challenges, the Fitness Expo will offer an interactive experience for visitors giving them a chance to talk to professionals, seek advice or simply discover new brands and products.
Events taking place within the Fitness Expo for all the family include the ESPORTS kids fitness area, GRAVITY CALISTHENTICS Battle Of The Bars, The Lee Hurford Boxing Academy, HM Fitness Octagon and the Fitness First Fit Factor.
Offering a healthy and fresh alternative to fast foods, Pascal Zion Moser, Co-founder, Yumtingz said: “We believe in the same goals as the Etisalat Fitness Fest and we think it is a great event that promotes a healthier lifestyle. We need to remove the stigma from healthy eating that it is boring and uninteresting, because it’s just not true.
“This event is all about coming together as a community and stimulating young minds and educating those who want a better quality of life, and this can be achieved through exercise and healthy eating.”
