Dubai Parks And Resorts Celebrates Its First Chinese New Year

untitled-1DUBAI, UAE – This year, guests can celebrate the Year of the Rooster at two of Dubai Parks and Resorts exciting theme parks.

From now until February 5th, guests visiting MOTIONGATE™ Dubai during Chinese New Year will be treated to a vibrant dragon and lion dance performance, accompanied by live drum and cymbal musicians plus a parading Chinese Buddha character. The colourful show will take place twice daily at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm in Studio Central, which will also be adorned in traditional Chinese décor.

LEGOLAND® Dubai is inviting families to help build 4,715 LEGO roosters in celebration of the Chinese New Year and help contribute to LEGOLAND’s goal of creating almost 5,000 roosters.  Guests can also learn a few fun facts about Chinese New Year such as it also being known as “Spring Festival” as it means the end of winter and the dawning of a new season.
