Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, a budget of AED 105 million has been allocated to the Mental Wealth Framework, which aims to implement ten initiatives over the next five years.

The broader community event will commence the 11th of October from 3 to 7 PM till 12th October from 2 PM to 6 PM each day at the Concrete, Al Serkal Avenue. Activities will include hands-on workshops focused on mental health, art therapy, and interactive sessions. A speaker series featuring mental health experts will offer insights and discussions on fostering well-being.

Dr. Hend Alawadhi, Head of Health Promotion & Education Section at Dubai Health Authority, introduced the Dubai Mental Wealth Strategy Initiative and stated;

“I am honored to stand before you today at this important event organized by the Dubai Health Authority under the title “Mental Wellness”. This topic is not just an individual issue, but rather one of the main values that contribute to enhancing the well-being of society as a whole. Research has proven that mental health is no less important than physical health, and in fact they are closely linked. The crises that the world has witnessed in recent years, whether economic or health-related, have cast their shadows on many aspects of our daily lives, making mental well-being one of the urgent challenges that must be dealt with seriously and cooperatively. With the launch today, we are marking the beginning of many such initiatives to follow that will help people from all communities to have access to mental health facilities.”
