Abu Dhabi, 18 October 2015:A group of enthusiastic ladies from Moms Guide Abu Dhabi, an online resource and a real life network of moms launched in October 2012 as a collaboration of expat and Emirati moms, was welcomed at Danat Al Emarat (DAE) for an exclusive sneak preview of its facilities.
The recently-opened purpose-built women and children’s hospital, the first of its kind in Abu Dhabi, treated the group to a morning filled with activities, including a workshop on breast cancer and a comprehensive tour of the hospital. Participants also had the opportunity to meet some of DAE’s doctors, while enjoying some delicious refreshments.
“The event was lovely and very useful. We were able to clarify all our queries and were very impressed by the physicians we met. Everyone was very intelligent and informative. I think DAE has so much potential and I’m excited to see them roll-out all their plans. I’ve been giving tons of positive feedback all over town”, said Esraa Rothman, founder of Moms Guide Abu Dhabi.
Next in line for a tour of Danat Al Emarat are Abu Dhabi Airline Spouses, on 22 October, and Jordanian Moms, on 29 October.
“We are determined to engage with the local community and establish permanent, solid, relationships that will allow us to better understand women’s needs. This continuous exchange will guide us and ensure we are constantly on the right track, adding real value to the community”, highlighted Cheow Seng Lee, CEO at Danat Al Emarat Hospital.
