Family Cycling Event Draws Large Crowds Every Month
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. November 21, 2017:
Abu Dhabi’s leading community cycling event, “Cycle For Health UAE,” will take place at Zayed Sport City Stadium on November 25, with an action-packed morning of healthy exercise.
Organized by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and The Department of Health, visitors can borrow bikes and helmets and cycle through the iconic Zayed Sports City Stadium at the free event.
Held in partnership with Healthpoint and Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, all part of Mubadala’s network of world-class healthcare providers, “Cycle for Health UAE” takes place on the last Saturday of every month.
The 1.9km course gives riders the opportunity to cycle in a safe and controlled environment. Riding lessons and individual coaching are available to help children and adults who aren’t confident on two wheels to improve their cycling skills.
The event features a dedicated area for beginners, as well as a children’s play area, an all-ages chill-out zone, and healthy food options.
Visitor parking is provided at Zayed Sports City Stadium, free of charge.
