Hong Kong, July 26 2017 – Coach and Lane Crawford announce the launch of Art of Expression, an immersive New York City experience and interactive pop-up, exclusively at Lane Crawford ifc mall from July 26 to August 22, and Lane Crawford Shanghai Times Square from August 5 to August 22.
Art of Expression pays homage to New York, the city Coach has always called home, and is a life-size recreation of the city’s subway—a contemporary and nostalgic symbol of New York and the set of the Fall 2017 fashion campaign. The experience is completely customized, Coach-style, starting with a mosaic wall that references the interior of a subway station and a train car with rose gold graffiti. Inside, there is special Coach imagery and gunmetal handrails that mirror the hardware on Coach bags.
The pop-up showcases popular runway styles from the Pre Fall and Fall 2017 collections for women and men—from shearling jackets and floral print skirts to track pants and embellished t-shirts. Four key bag silhouettes—the Dinky, Turnlock Saddle Bag, Kisslock Satchel and Rogue Tote—highlight the season’s wide array of globally exclusive hues: very “Coach colors”—warm tans, rich browns and pale yellows—feminine tulip and lilac, and bright reds and greens inspired by vintage athletic tracksuits offered only through Lane Crawford at the pop-up.
The interactive shop is complete with unique customization services by a Coach craftsman at Lane Crawford ifc mall. Visitors can add Coach’s signature leather Tea Roses to the house’s iconic Dinkys, personalize leather bags, wallets and accessories with a monogram or exclusive Coach stamp, and choose a new glovetanned leather strap for their favorite Coach bag.
