Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, part of Mubadala’s network of healthcare providers, has been named as the UAE’s ‘Most Attractive Employer’ in the healthcare sector by Universum, an international market research company that surveyed more than 8,000 students in the Emirates.

Underscoring the growing interest in healthcare careers at the critical and complex care facility among young UAE nationals, the students surveyed specifically mentioned Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s reputation for excellence in care, innovation, and progress in further developing the country’s healthcare sector.

“We’re very proud to be named as the ‘Most Attractive Employer’ in this research, which reflects the progress that Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is making to becoming an employer-of-choice for the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our talent acquisition program plays a key role in contributing to the sustainability of the UAE’s healthcare landscape,” said Yaser Obaid, Chief Human Capital Officer, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

With these growth and professional development goals in mind, the facility’s human capital team will participate in the Tawdheef career fair taking place this week in Abu Dhabi.   Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is currently interviewing potential caregivers in many departments, including nursing and allied health, medical administration, technology, operations, and finance.

Alongside its recruitment efforts at Tawdheef to attract UAE nationals to the medical sector, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is actively seeking applicants for its internship and graduate programs, while collaborating with several of the UAE’s leading universities, including Fatima College of Health Sciences and others, on work placement opportunities.

“Expanding the pool of medical talent in the UAE is a key priority for Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.  We are partnering with higher learning institutes and career fairs such as Tawdheef to increase awareness about the opportunities of working in the medical field and reach more potential healthcare professionals,” added Obaid.
