Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 9 November — Barco, a leader in visualization technology, has opened a new office in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The official opening event took place on November 9, 2015 at Al Nemer Center 1 in Riyadh’s Olaya District, in the presence of the Belgian Ambassador in the KSA Geert Criel, members of the press, and Barco business partners and clients.
Through its new regional office, Barco aims to further strengthen its position in the local visualization market and contribute to the country’s ambitious healthcare plans. Barco has been doing business in the KSA for almost three decades and was involved in various impressive projects for both the public and private sector. As part of its efforts to ensure the full satisfaction of its key customers such as MOH, MOI and Aramco, Barco has decided to expand in the Kingdom, starting with its new local office, to further improve its Saudi partnerships and services. The company is committed to contributing to the success of the KSA, one of the most imposing economies in the world.
Eyes on the future
During the opening ceremony, attendees were given an overview of Barco’s various projects in the Middle East. Highlights from Barco’s healthcare portfolio were demonstrated, including state-of-the-art control room technology, high-end surgical displays, and the Nexxis Digital OR solution for image distribution and Interactive Patient Care Solutions. Barco also exclusively unveiled its brand-new Coronis Uniti & Nio Diagnostic Imaging Displays.
