One of the toughest forms of endurance competition with athletes taking part in back to back swimming, cycling and running races, triathlons have increased in popularity in the UAE in recent years.
While regular events attract both amateur and elite level adult athletes from the sporting community, more and more youngsters are taking part in specially organised shorter distance triathlons.
In 2017, more than 300 children competed in the junior level ITU World Triathlon Abu Dhabi, more than double the number of participants from the inaugural 2015 event.
ALFAHIM has a proud history of endorsing sporting events in the UAE which inspire people into a more active lifestyle having partnered with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council to help continue the phenomenal success of the HSBC Championship, the Abu Dhabi Tour and the Mubadala Tennis Championship, among others.
