Al Sagheer, one of the premium hair and beauty salons, encompassing a chain of more than 26 salons across Egypt, Dubai & Qatar; proudly supported the community this Ramadan with a  hair & beauty styling event for the children from Dubai Autism Center and Awqaf & Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF).

As the name “Happiness for all” indicates, the initiative was aimed at spreading happiness and creating moments of joy for the children in two different organizations- Dubai Autism Centre and AMAF. As a part of the volunteering initiative, Al Sagheer’s team of experts visited these organizations to provide kids with stylish makeovers, to make them feel good about themselves and help them prepare for the festival of Eid Al Fitr.

Each child was given a special session with a hairstyle that suits them the best. The event also included a host of activities aimed at entertaining the children and enhancing their excitement. The  kids were presented with gifts and most importantly, an unforgettable experience for their lifetime. Al Sagheer group is very active with initiatives that bring changes in the community. The hair and beauty stylist encourages a volunteering culture among the staff and promotes the principle of 'giving back to the community’.

About Dubai Autism Center

The Dubai Autism Centre (DAC) is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive and specialized services to children with Autism and their families. Founded in November 2001 with the  issuance of a decree from H.H. Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the DAC Maintains international standards, providing intervention programs through a holistic approach for children with autism. The Center also provides information, support, advice and training to professionals and parents of children with autism working towards facilitating a better understanding of autism in the UAE community.

The birth of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) came with the issue of law No. 6 in 2004 during the era of the late His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
