Dubai, 17th January 2016, UAE: As Dubai welcomes the pleasant weather and gets ready for enjoying various outdoor activities and events, Al Noor Training Centre gears up for the upcoming annual Al Noor – Samsung Hope for Children Family Fun Fair which will be a perfect platform to engage families and children with the wider community and encourage them to actively participate for the cause of Special Needs people. The Fun Fair will be held on 26th February 2016 from 10 am to 10 pm at Al Noor premises.
The Fun Fair which has a footfall of almost 5000 every year, is a part of the Centre’s ongoing fund raising initiative, organized to raise funds through enthusiastic participation of the sponsors, volunteers and the community. The proceeds from the Fun Fair are used to cover the running costs of the institute that enable the Centre to impart quality training to the students at a subsidized fee.
Long term supporter Samsung has once again come on board as the Title Sponsor and Al Maktoum Foundation is the Support Sponsor. For the 2nd year, Emirates Leisure Retail, through Costa Coffee and Giraffe, has also once again extended its support of the Fun Fair, bringing to life a fun-filled food court with something for all the family. Every taste will be catered for; from Costa Coffee with its hand-crafted coffee throughout the day to our global cuisine favourite Giraffe. There will also be NKD Pizza and Moti Roti. Plus delicious desserts for the children (and adults!) from Baskin Robbins, Melt and Dunkin Donuts. We are also pleased to announce that Dubai Refreshments Company, also for the second year running, is the Support Sponsor for the Food Court.
Fascinating activities like animal rides, magic show and a special kid’s village along with face painting, bouncy castles, games, rides, bazaars, quizzes, raffle draws, variety of food stalls and other recreational activities will be the highlight of the fair.
Not only kids and families, but adults and corporates will also get a chance to indulge in the festivity by participating in the CSR Football Tournament sponsored by Bank of Sharjah.
Mr. Ismail Yoon, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, commented saying, “With the principle of social responsibility at the heart of our Corporate Citizenship Program, Samsung strives to drive the improvement and development of the future generation. It was in this spirit that the Samsung Hope for Children program was created and our company aspires to create significant awareness for the special needs community by being a part of the Al Noor Fun Fair.”
Ms. Isphana Al Khatib, Director of Al Noor Centre said, “We are pleased to announce that like every year, this year too we will be able to provide a fun filled event to families while supporting our cause. It has become one of the most popular events on the Al Noor Calendar and we are looking forward to the participation of all our supporters to help us foster a sense of community caring and sharing.”
