AHSAbu Dhabi-UAE: 29 December, 2014 – Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS), a SEHA health system facility, has announced extended working hours at Madinat Khalifa, Madinat Mohamed Bin Zayed and Al Maqtaa healthcare centers in Abu Dhabi, and the Mezyad healthcare center in Al Ain.

With effect from January 18, Madinat Khalifa, Madinat Mohamed Bin Zayed and Al Maqtaa healthcare centers will offer extended operating hours on Saturdays from 7:00am to 10:00pm instead of the earlier slot of 12:00 noon to 8:00pm. The regular working hours of these centers on weekdays will remain unchanged from 7:00am to 10:00pm.

Additionally, from January 4, the Mezyad healthcare center in Al Ain will become a 24/7 healthcare center to offer round-the-clock emergency care services. Other 24/7 healthcare centers within the AHS network include Al Khatem, Remah, Sweihan, Al Qua’a and Al Hayer healthcare centers.

Dr. Mariam Buti Al Mazroui, Acting CEO of AHS, said: “The decision to extend operating hours at these healthcare centers is in line with our ongoing efforts to advance the standards of healthcare services across the entire AHS entire network.
