Abu Dhabi-UAE: 31 October, 2014 – Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS), a SEHA health system facility, has announced extended working hours on Saturdays for the Mezyad Healthcare Center in Al Ain from 7am to 10pm, instead of the previous timings of 12 noon to 8pm.
The new weekend timing, which comes into effect on Saturday, November 1, 2014, aims to cope with the growing number of customers to the healthcare center which receives an average of up to 400 patients on a daily basis.
Dr. Lolowa Al Mekaini, Director, Eastern Region for Ambulatory Health Services Centers at AHS, said: “Our weekend services articulate AHS’ commitment to optimizing resources and maximizing working hours to meet the growing needs of customers for patient-focused, quality healthcare. The new working hours will ensure that our customers are offered better access to world class operation procedures and extended consultation time at all AHS centers.”
The Mezyad Healthcare Center excels in services such as antenatal care, chronic disease clinic, clinical breast examination, consultation and referral, dermatology, diabetic education, dietetics, emergency care, general dentistry, general and family medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, laboratory, mother and child health, patient and family education, pediatric medicine, pharmacy, radiology, vaccination, weekend polyclinic and weqaya screening.
