Hundreds of children are participating in a summer camp organized by the Abu Dhabi Officers’ Club and Hotel to ensure they spend a good time during the break.
The camp provides the participants aged 5-13 years with various activities including exercises, sports, swimming, shooting, tennis, bowling and other games.
The Club’s deputy general manager Mr Peter Freeman said the 2015 summer camp, which closes on August 27, said many families prefer that their children join this event given its importance for their physical and mental activities.
“For this reason, the Hotel has become the favorite destination for most families in the UAE and the other GCC countries,” he added.
Nearly 300 children in that age range attended this year’s summer camp, which also includes free cinema showing useful movies for kids, as well as beverage and sweets. The Club also has plans to host children for the year end break in December.
