Q. WHY HAVE YOU SPECIFICALLY CHOSEN FASHION AND BEAUTY TO BLOG ABOUT?

Zahra: I have chosen fashion and beauty simply because I love beautiful things. Fashion is all about being creative and putting pieces together.

Q. WHAT IN FASHION AND BEAUTY DO YOU SPECIFICALLY BLOG ABOUT?

Zahra: I share my reviews about beauty products, my daily makeup routine and my IT list. I share my favorite looks and outfits with my followers giving them advice on how to help make their outfit trendy and accessible.

Q. WHO IS YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE AND WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE DO YOU AIM TO SEND ACROSS TO YOUR FOLLOWERS?

Zahra: I am mainly followed by women between 24 to 35 years of age as I represent a street-style look with an elegant touch. I believe that
fashion does not have an age limit. I aim to share with my followers the idea that being fashionable and trendy does not need to be expensive.

Q. WHERE DO YOU ASPIRE TO BE IN ANOTHER FIVE YEARS?

Zahra: In five years, I see myself running my own brand and a successful editorial blog giving my daily advice on how to be trendy without breaking the bank!

Q. WHO ARE A FEW BLOGGERS YOU ADMIRE AND WHY?

Zahra: I love Julie Sarinana; her blog is called Sincerely Jules and her style is effortless and clean. I admire her attention to details and her blog post is very inspiring. I also love Margaret Zhang; her style is very edgy and fresh. She’s a big risk-taker with fashion and style.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR ASPIRING BLOGGERS OUT THERE?

Zahra: Make sure you have a vision and treat it like your business. Never lose yourself and stay true to who you are. Be your own biggest cheerleader; believe first in yourself if you want others to believe in your vision!
