Fitness First are running 76 of their classes for free in conjunction with the Dubai Fitness Challenge

After its unquestionable success in 2017, Dubai Fitness Challenge returned this weekend, running from 26th October to 24th November aiming to transform Dubai into the most active city in the world.

Launched just last year by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, around 786,000 citizens and residents of all ages and fitness levels committed to 30 consecutive minutes of daily physical activity for 30 days.

The 30×30 concept aims to encourage Dubai residents to do 30 minutes of exercise everyday for 30 days. This year, as Dubai continues its mission to become the healthiest city in the world, the aim is to encourage over 1 million residents to take part in the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

Fitness First will be supporting the flagship fitness initiative by running daily classes for the full duration of the campaign. All of your favourite Fitness First classes will be available to the public. From Body Combat to Yoga, Zumba to Barre, there will be 76 of Fitness First classes that will be running everyday for 30 days across venues such as Jumeirah Lake Towers, Festival City, Golden Mile, Kite Beach and DIFC.

People of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to attend with even Kids Zumba classes available to children. The classes are completely free and look to “Make Dubai the most active, healthiest, happiest and smartest city on the planet”.

Being active is not just about moving; its about turning the simple into the challenging and dreams into achievements. Dubai Fitness Challenge goes beyond building an ever-evolving city into an inspirationally active one – it is about creating champions out of challengers and a society of happy, global citizens. Fitness First are fully behind this.
