VERSACE CELEBRATES UNITY AND HOPE WITH THE FALL WINTER 17 CAMPAIGN BY BRUCE WEBER

Versace is proud to debut its Fall Winter 17 advertising campaign, shot by Bruce Weber.

Conceived by Artistic Director Donatella Versace, the campaign sends a powerful manifesto of unity and hope.

The campaign stars Gigi Hadid, together with Mica Arganaraz, Taylor Hill and Vittoria Ceretti, dressed in bold looks from the FW17 collection, featuring affirming messages of “EQUALITY”, “STRENGTH” and “LOVE”.

Images encourage all to take a stand, define their beliefs, and do so with courage, positivity and optimism. Energy is kinetic, looks are forceful, and the campaign captures the spirit of unity, expressing a clear message of empowerment.

The images were shot in a studio, focusing all attention on the message of Versace’s positivity and belief in the strength of femininity and masculinity of the FW17 collection.

The power of proclamation is reaffirmed with men’s images starring Barry Lomeka, Barak Shamir, Filip Wolf, Saul Rodriguez, Alpha Dia, Valentine Rontez, Tristian Thevenot and Michael Gioia. A pure expression of the brotherhood of Versace. Different men, different beliefs, different styles meet to create the new vision of the Versace man.

Standing up and voicing beliefs of strength and individuality are evident throughout, with Bruce Weber’s innate ability to capture the true character of his subjects, and of Versace itself.

“After talking to Donatella about what’s happening around the world today, we wanted to do photographs of people standing up for something – some cause that would help other people.
