The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) aims to provide diverse opportunities in healthcare to Emirati job seekers at Careers UAE 2019.
The three-day event is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre and aims to present Emirati graduates and job seekers with job opportunities in the private and public sector in UAE.
The DHA stand at Careers UAE 2019 offers career consultation services, which include career-counseling, tips to write CV, best tips for an interview etc.
Amna Al Suwaidi, Director of Human Resources at the DHA, said: “DHA fosters and encourages Emiratisation and is keen to provide an environment that is conducive to develop national talent. The percentage of Emiratisation at the CEO level at DHA has reached 100 per cent, at the leadership level, it has reached 91 per cent, in supervisory positions it has reached 80 per cent, in health specializations it is 21 per cent and 35 per cent in technical specializations.
“The DHA is keen to promote Emiratisation across all specialties. This year, we received job applications from different healthcare fields such as medical, nursing, paramedical, and administration. Details of the job vacancies available are on the DHA website, Dubai Careers platform and on DHA’s LinkedIn page. Moreover, job seekers can come to our stand at Careers UAE 2019 and seek guidance on how to write a CV, take part in interviews etc.”
She added that the DHA offers Emirati graduates educational and training opportunities, o that they can pursue higher medical qualifications and serve the medical needs of the Emirate.
Al Suwaidi highlighted this aids employee retention as well as leads to national talent force development.
