The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) celebrated UAE Mother’s Day, which falls on 21st March every year by organising several activities across DHA health facilities.
As part of the festivities, the dermatology department of the DHA held a mobile skin clinic and provided free on-the-spot skin consultation sessions.
Dr Anwar Al Hammadi, Director of Dermatology at the DHA provided these consultations and also held a talk where he discussed several aspects of skin care such as daily skin care routine, the importance of Vitamin D, how to protect the skin from the harmful exposure of UV rays etc.
Cetaphil provided mothers with gift hampers at the event.
Additionally, six new mothers at the maternity wards of Latifa Hospital and Rashid Hospital in Dubai were gifted an LG PuriCare Air Purifier each, to take home to ensure optimal indoor air quality for their new-borns.
Kyungrin An, GM for RAC department, LG Electronics presented the air purifiers to new mothers and highlighted that the air purifiers have been designed to optimize indoor air quality.
The festivities included live music, traditional food and drinks, and pop-up stores with traditional artefacts.
