Dubai Asset Management, the owner and manager of one of the city’s largest portfolios of rental residential communities and a member of Dubai Holding, is set to join the UAE and the rest of the world in switching off all non-essential lights across its 10 communities to mark Earth Hour 2019.

Committed to reducing its carbon footprint and saving the planet, Dubai Asset Management is encouraging tenants to participate in the initiative that will save 24,000 kilowatts – enough energy to power 500 homes in Nigeria for a month.

As part of its energy and cost saving initiative, the largest community asset manager in Dubai will be sharing a number of essential tips for residents to save energy and money ‘beyond the hour’. The initiative will include complementary installation services for residents opting to change their incandescent lightbulbs with light-emitting diode bulbs (LEDs) that last up to 40 times longer. Dubai Asset Management also ensures routine HVAC maintenance to improve energy efficiency used, saving power and providing a cleaner living environment.

As the largest global movement for the environment and energy, Earth Hour 2019 is themed ‘Change the Way We Live’. Since its first edition in 2007, Earth Hour has become a global movement that annually inspires nations to come together for a global cause.

Dubai Asset Management owns and manages a diverse portfolio of 10 residential communities that are home to more than 100,000 people. The company is committed to the delivery of consistent customer service through its end-to-end operations, from asset inception to property management.
