Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohamed Al Qasimi, Wife of HH the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), Al Jawaher Reception & Convention Centre (JRCC) is gearing up to host the debut edition of ‘Azyan’, Sharjah’s first and only conference and exhibition that focuses on beauty, fashion and wellness, and taking place from 18-21 April.

JRCC is organizing ‘Azyan’ exhibition & conference with aims to support beauty, fashion, wellness and personal care sectors, and complement the objectives of Sharjah Bridal Fair, a landmark exhibition in wedding designing and planning industry.

The exhibition will bring together some of the local and world-known beauty and fashion brands to exhibit their products and services through 125 stands. The conference will host a stellar group of experts and professionals in health, beauty, wellness and fashion in seminars to share expertise and new ideas to drive the development of these vital sectors.

‘Azyan’ offers visitors the opportunity to explore the latest fashion and style trends at the fashion shows, while receiving personal consultations through one-to-one meetings with a group of fitness, wellness, nutrition, and aesthetics professionals, showcasing the latest technologies and techniques in the market.

HE Hanan Al Mahmoud, CEO of JRCC, said: “Azyan Exhibition and Conference is a new achievement of JRCC’s portfolio of successful events such as Sharjah Bridal Fairs, which became one of the most popular signature wedding exhibitions, dedicated to providing all the supporting services needed for weddings and catering for all the bride’s needs.”

Al Mahmoud added: “based on our experience at Sharjah Bridal Fair, women need a one-stop-shop to attend tips sessions on beauty, health, and wellness, not only a platform to cater for the needs of brides-to-be. The name ‘Azyan’, is derived from an Arabic word meaning ‘Beauty’. Through this exhibition we educate women on how to care for their health and beauty”.

“Azyan does not offer quality products only, but educates women on how to make the right choice among all the products in the market, taking into consideration their health and beauty at the same time. The event also aims to raise JRCC’s position as a world-class destination to host international beauty experts in leading events”. She continued.

Al Mahmoud noted that the exhibition ideally coincides with the preparations for Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr celebrations, offering ladies a wide range of fashion and skin care products.

She highlighted the importance and remarkable growth the beauty and personal care products sector is witnessing in MENA region. Recent studies reported that the USD 15.9 billion worth sector in this region will grow twice as fast as the rest of the world, up to 8.5% within the next three years. The USD 444 billion worth global beauty products market is anticipated to grow by 4.2% per annum.

The CEO of JRCC underlined their commitment to raise awareness about the importance of attracting more expertise and motivate business women and entrepreneurs to contribute to the development of beauty, personal care and fashion sectors. These sectors offer an open space for innovating and implementing long-term investment plans using the latest technologies. They provide many job opportunities and play a key role in supporting the market and driving sustainable development.

The 4-day programs will highlight the three aspects of the exhibition – Beauty, Fashion and Wellness, with a full dedicated day and seminars for each, allowing visitors to have deeper insights about the latest developments in each sector and meet with the industry professionals and experts.
