OMAN Insurance Company clinched the title after beating Pioneer Insurance Brokers in a thrilling final match.
The winners and the runners-up were awarded trophies and cash awards at the closing ceremony, by Ali Zaidi – General Manager of Aafiya TPA.
Oman Insurance Renijith Sreekala was adjudged the Man of the Match as well as the Man of the Series for his outstanding performance, and was presented with trophies and cash awards.
Organised by Aafiya TPA, the cricket tournament was conducted as individual matches of 8 overs each. APL saw the participation of 12 corporate insurance, provider and broker teams from all over the UAE.
“APL has enabled the insurance professionals from different companies to engage with each other through the game of cricket,” said Ali Zaidi, commenting on Aafiya’s objective behind organising the tournament.
