Dubai, UAE; October 26, 2017: UAE-based luxury furniture and home décor brand 2XL, devoted the month of October to raising awareness about early breast cancer detection. All 2XL employees dressed in pink in support of the Pink Ribbon International Association, dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness and funding for breast cancer research.
The iconic pink ribbon took center stage at all 2XL showrooms, and pink color cupcakes were distributed to customers and staff.
2XL also held a quiz on breast cancer to generate awareness among employees about the importance of early detection and advancements in cancer treatment. All winners received gift vouchers.
Amit Yadav, Marketing Manager, 2XL Furniture and Home Décor, commented, “We are proud to support all breast cancer warriors and their families. Our goal is to spread awareness through our staff, customers, their families, and social circles about the importance of regular check-ups to detect cancer at an early stage when it responds better to treatment. This one simple step itself can save many lives.”
According to reports, nearly 40 percent of cancer cases diagnosed in the UAE are that of breast cancer and more than 20 percent of all female deaths in the UAE are due to breast cancer.
