As part of their ‘Motherhood Carnival’, the hospital in Ajman offers complimentary maternity coverage to two expat couples
April 28, 2018; Ajman, UAE: Amina Hospital, Ajman, brought laughter and joy in the lives of two very happy couples as they await the birth of their babies. Winners of the raffle draw at the Hospital’s “Motherhood Carnival” held on Friday at Ajman Walk, the Syrian and Indian parents-to-be will now be entitled to the free Royal delivery packages at Amina Hospital worth thousands of dirhams.
“This is so amazing that I have no words to explain my feelings,” said a beaming Mr Mohammad Aswak, standing next to his wife, Ms Jubaida Nasreen. The couple will be welcoming their fourth baby in August. “Only yesterday my mother was telling me to send my family back to India for delivery since maternity cost here is quite costly for me to afford. But now, thanks to Amina Hospital which is covering the cost, I can keep my family here and we can all rejoice as we wait for the new addition.”
Echoing the sentiments, Syrian national Mr Ahmed Hasan Al Fayed added: “This is a great moment for me and my wife, Rasha. Our third baby is due on 15th of May, and this gift could not have come at a better time. We are very, very happy and would like to thank Amina Hospital for this kind gesture”.
Mr Al Fayed is a business owner, while Mr Aswak works as an accountant at a car factory.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Yasmin Shaikh, Marketing Director at Amina Hospitals, Northern Emirates said: “I would like to congratulate both the couples on this happy occasion and wish them all the joy. Motherhood is a beautiful experience and we feel proud that we have done our bit to make it extra special for these couples. Moreover, the reduced price of AED4,999 for normal delivery package offered during the Carnival will continue for some time as well”.
Both the expectant mothers can avail either normal or C-section delivery depending on their requirement, and the package includes complimentary delivery and labour room charges, medical supplies during package days, specialist rounding fee, in-ward obstetrician and first follow up consultation after discharge among other services. While in the case of a cesarean delivery, LSCS charges and anesthesia charges, in-operation theatre will also be included in the package. For babies the package offers vaccination BCG, vaccination Hepatitis B, BCB and a follow up consultation after discharge.
The well-attended carnival was open to all ages, offering a range of amusing activities including games and movies.
