On the 27th January CycleBar Dubai will be hosting a charity sweat-a-thon ride lead by fitness influencer Brett Richard Fitness in association with animal rescue organisation SNIFF. The concept is simple; CycleBar would like riders to raise as much money as they can for this incredible cause by getting their companies, friends or colleagues to sponsor each km they achieve during their ride. There is a small registration fee of 50 AED for the two-hour ride and if riders wish to partner with another rider or create a team of maximum four people in order to relay and try and cycle further during the class then the registration fee will remain 50 AED as long as all participants are riding for the same sponsor. There is a minimum sponsorship fee of 10 AED per km and this ride is open to all fitness levels, every km counts! For the most kilometers achieved on the day CycleBar will have some great prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place so bring you’re A game! All funds raised during the ride will be donated to SNIFF who are dedicated to helping all stray and abandoned animals in the UAE. As well as an exciting charity spin session, CycleBar will also be offering some yummy post workout snacks and goodie bags. This charity ride will be the first of many!

Brett Richard Fitness
Born and raised in South Africa, Brett moved to the UAE in the beginning of 2017. From being a Mr South Africa finalist, to reaching the peaks of Kilimanjaro, Brett is always setting goals for himself and achieving them. He lives life to the full and tries everything at least once. A personal trainer by day and an ‘adventureholic’ by night, Brett fuels his spare time with anything from extreme sports to American football. Brett has a passion for working with charities and raises money for many causes both in the UAE and in his home country of South Africa.
SNIFF – Strays Needing Interim or Furever Friends
SNIFF is an animal rescue organisation dedicated to helping all animals in the UAE. Set up by a group of friends all with full time jobs but a love for animals, SNIFF is an animal rescue group which aims to re-home the UAE’s stray and abandoned pets. All with rescue pets themselves, the founders of SNIFF aim to educate people on the importance of adopting rescue pets instead of buying from pet stores. The tragic situations animals were being found in prompted them to take action. SNIFF is entirely funded by the generosity of animal lovers in the UAE and beyond. Any funds donated go directly into their account at the vets who use it to pay for medical bills, food and boarding. SNIFF constantly needs foster homes, people to help with fundraising events and above all, people just to spread the word. SNIFF supports all animal rescue groups in the UAE and their ultimate mission is to not need to exist at all. To date SNIFF has rescued over 5000 animals in the UAE. Riders will never be bored of the beats at CycleBar Dubai with their offering of well over 1 million tracks thanks to their proprietary music system CycleBeats®. Playlists and stats from each ride class are emailed to riders immediately following their class.
Brand History
In 2004, Bill Pryor and his sister Alex Klemmer decided to create one of the first independent cycling studios in the US in their Boston neighbourhood. Both Bill, then a corporate executive, and Alex, a stay-at-home mom, recognized that there were three key ingredients to a successful indoor cycling experience: great instructors, great music, and a great environment. They opened their first dedicated studio a year later and have been perfecting their high-energy, cycling- focused concept ever since. Now, ten years later, Pryor and Klemmer have partnered with like-minded fitness enthusiasts to allow others to experience and benefit from the CycleBar experience all around the United States. In June 2017 CycleBar opened its first location outside of the US in Dubai, UAE, with plans for many more locations in the region to follow.
