Dubai, UAE: The Union Pledge Day is a defining national occasion that celebrates the enduring values laid down by the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his fellow Rulers. Their vision placed people at the heart of development, established unity as the cornerstone of national progress, and reaffirmed a collective belief in a nation united by common ambition, embracing the future and advancing under wise leadership guided by a clear and enduring vision.
At the Ministry of Health and Prevention, we draw inspiration from this national occasion to fulfil our responsibility to build an integrated, preventive and sustainable healthcare ecosystem that is more resilient, adaptable and future-ready, driven by innovation and strengthened by national talent. In doing so, we are advancing the objectives of ‘We the UAE 2031’. Under the guidance of our wise leadership, the Union Pledge continues to shape an institutional approach grounded in unity of vision, institutional integration and forward-looking policymaking that safeguards the nation’s achievements and unlocks new pathways for sustainable development.
We renew our pledge that the healthcare sector will remain a key partner in the nation’s development journey, carrying forward the Union’s enduring mission of protecting people’s health, enhancing their quality of life, and consolidating a pioneering Emirati model that continues to shape the future with confidence while reinforcing the UAE’s standing at both the regional and global levels contributing to the long-term aspirations of the UAE Centennial 2071.
