INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF BODYBUILDING AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS TO TAKE PLACE AT DUBAI MUSCLE SHOW
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 16 October 2016: Hundreds of local, regional and international bodybuilders will gather this week to compete in the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) Amateur Championships, at Dubai Muscle Show, on 21-22 October 2016, Dubai International Marine Club. The competition is organised by Universal Muscle, Fitness & Fashion (UMFF) in a collaboration with Dubai Sports Council, and supported by Emirates Bodybuilding Federation (EBBF), under the rules and regulations of the IFBB.
The contest will feature over an anticipated 300 muscle men and women, coming from as far as Australia, South Africa, UK and across the Middle East, to prove themselves on the world’s most coveted amateur stage. The event is set to be the largest ever amateur bodybuilding contest that the UAE has ever seen – with prizes presented by 8 Time Mr Olympia, Ronnie Coleman.

Over 2 days, male and female competitors will compete in 12 categories, showcasing the culmination of years and months of dedicated training and nutrition that each of them has endured to reach their highest level of physical form. The categories include Bodybuilding, Classic Bodybuilding, Women’s Fitness, Men’s Fitness, Women’s Bodyfitness, Women’s Bikini-Fitness, Men’s Physique, Women’s Physique, Mixed Pair, Children Fitness, Classic Physique, and Wellness Fitness.

Competitors will be looking to impress in front of some of the world’s most iconic bodybuilders, including previous IFBB champions, 4 time Mr Olympia Jay Cutler and 8 time Mr Olympia Ronnie Coleman. They will be joined at Dubai Muscle Show by 4 time Musclemania Champion Ulisses Jr., 4 time Fitness Model World Champion Andreia Brazier, global fitness icon Lazar Angelov, World Beauty Fitness & Fashion Professionals Jaco De Bruyn and Sergi Constance and 4 time Mr Olympia top 3 Jason Poston, who will all be there to meet fans.
